Hey Sunday Brewers!
If you’re into happiness hacks…
Conversion rate boosters…
And $43,000 commission-escalating secrets…
You’re in the RIGHT place!
But before we get to those…let’s start with a little taste of something GOOD! ☀️ ☕️ 😊
When the garbage truck pulls into Emma Grace’s neighborhood in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, nothing else matters.
The little girl with special needs makes a beeline for the driveway so that she can steal a few seconds with her friend, Mr. Elbert Berry, who drives the garbage truck.
“Oh she loves him. She loves him,” says Emma Grace’s mother Laura. “And he loves her, too.”
The unlikely bond between Emma Grace and Elbert started with a simple wave.
The first day he came through the neighborhood, he started waving to her. Emma became very excited and the two struck up a friendship.
One day, she asked Elbert if she could snap a picture of him so that she could take the photo with her “every day.”
A few weeks later, she returned the photo inside a card.
Touched by the gesture, Berry decided to turn that same picture into a necklace.
On the back of that necklace is an inscription that reads: “You are the best part of my day!”
Emma Grace’s face lit up when she got the thoughtful gift.
“It made me think that he was the kind of person who should be celebrated,” Emma Grace’s mom said.
“But probably more important than that, he is the kind of person we should all try to be more like.”
Cue the ‘awwwwwww’…. 😍

Researchers have found that a one-time act of gratitude results in an immediate 10% increase in happiness.
And here’s the best part: It doesn’t have to be some elaborate scheme or huge investment of time.
The simplest acts of gratitude lead to an immediate increase in happiness.
Better yet, the more you practice gratitude, the more habitual it becomes.
Like learning how to play a song on the piano…
The more you practice, the less it sounds like pots and pans slamming together, and the more it sounds like a beautiful and harmonious tune.
There are plenty of different ways to practice gratitude, but here are a couple of ideas:
🙏 The ONE Thing Exercise
As soon as you wake up – but before you get out of bed – pick ONE thing that you’re extremely grateful for and repeat it 10 times.
For example, “I am so happy and grateful that I get to run my own business and control my own income.”
🙏 The 3 People Exercise
Think of three people that you’re going to interact with today and name a reason you’re grateful for each of them.
Not only does this make you instantly happier, but it will make your interactions with that person that much more powerful.
☕ TL;DR: A simple act of gratitude can instantly make you 10% happier.

🔹 Gen Z gets focused. A new report shows adult members of Gen Z are now hyper focused on savings and financial literacy after the surprising shockwaves of the recent pandemic.
In total, 7-in-10 of those between the ages of 18-24 have added to their savings over the past year, while 26% contributed to a retirement account.
🔹 ‘Breakaway advisors’. A new feature piece in FA-Mag.com explores the growing trend of “breakaway advisors” who are departing big-name financial institutions to join the RIA movement.
The bottom line: The pandemic made advisors realize there’s way more control and financial flexibility in going independent. Advances in technology are making the shift more realistic.
