Imagine walking downstairs one day and discovering that your child or grandchild is secretly a musical savant.
That’s what happened when Isaiah Kofie woke up one morning to hear his 11-year-old autistic son, Jude, playing the keyboard like he’d spent his entire life training.
Only he had NEVER taken lessons before.
“I was here watching the news when I heard him play something,” Isaiah said.
“So I grabbed my phone, went down there, and was like, ‘Dude, play that again.'”
Jude has overcome his fair share of hurdles in his young life – including heart surgery as a baby.
But it appears he’s finally found his true love – his passion in life.
And others believe in him, too….including a professional Colorado piano tuner by the name of Bill Magnusson.
When Bill saw Jude’s amazing story on Denver’s local news a few months ago…
…he knew he was listening to an extraordinary talent.
So he called up the station and asked if they could put him in touch with Jude and Isaiah.
At the time, Jude was practicing on an old electric keyboard.
Bill decided to buy him a grand piano for the living room.
Isaiah was floored by the gift, saying he never could have afforded a piano this nice.
But for Bill it was an easy decision.
“The ripple effects for the next 70 or 80 years are incalculable,” he says. “It’s not just for him. It’s for all the people he’s going to touch.”

Ever wondered how criminal investigators are so good at detecting when someone isn’t being truthful?
They’re trained to watch and listen to small cues.
With a little practice, you can also pick up on these nuances and lessen your chances of being taken advantage of in business.
Here are some signs that someone is likely being dishonest with you:
- They give short, general answers to specific questions
- They either stare you down OR don’t make eye contact at all
- Their breathing speeds up and slows down
- They pitch of their voice changes or cracks when talking
- They frequently touch their nose when talking
- They don’t speak in complete sentences (i.e. trailing off)
On the flip side, the absence of these factors indicate that someone is most likely telling the truth.
There…I just gave you a new superpower for 2023.
