Hey Sunday Brewers!
If you struggle with procrastination…
Or what to do with your hands when talking…
Or challenges managing your BUSY schedule…
This issue of the ‘Brew is for you 👊
Enjoy! ☕️
Liana Aruda and her two boys were worn out from trick-or-treating.
Not wanting to cook anything for dinner, the trio grabbed dinner at a local restaurant in their town of Taunton, MA.
When the $80 check came, Liana went for her purse…
But the waitress let her know it wouldn’t be necessary.
She explained that another family had already covered the tab.
“I almost wanted to cry because it was just really selfless and thoughtful,” Liana says. “I was with two young kids, so they can get a little crazy and overwhelming.”
And before slipping away, the mysterious good Samaritan handed the waitress this card and asked her to pass it along to Liana.
It turns out that the woman’s random act of kindness is part of a much larger trend – one that honors the life of a young man who passed away at the age of 21.
The card is sparking joy all across the country.
So far, it’s traveled 500+ miles, making plenty of stops (and smiles) along the way.

Tired of procrastination holding you back?
Research suggests eliminating deadlines…or at least shortening them.
The study found people are LESS likely to complete a task the further out the deadline is.
That’s because LONG deadlines give people permission to procrastinate.
SHORT deadlines increase urgency and compel people to take action.
So if you’re meeting with a prospect and he tells you he needs to talk with his spouse before proceeding…
…don’t tell him to call you in a week.
Tell him you’ll check back in tomorrow to see what decision they’ve made.
By shortening the deadline, you make the task a bigger priority. If nothing else, this leads to less procrastination and faster results.
☕ TL;DR: Long deadlines encourage procrastination. Try shortening deadlines for better results.

🔹 Survey says. Let’s play guess that number…
- 88%…That’s the number of Americans who are worried about inflation headed into the holiday season.
- 46%…Is the number of Americans who expect to retire in debt.
- 43%…The percentage of adults in a relationship who admit committing acts of financial deception against their partners.
🔹 Crypto questions. More than 80% of financial advisors are being asked about crypto, yet just 14% are using them or recommending them to clients. Industry insiders expect that disparity to shrink.
🔹 Big money. The House passed a historic $1.75 trillion social policy and climate bill this week. Now it heads to the Senate where it’ll face a tough test.
